Brenda Childress

Executive Director of S4CA

As Executive Director of S4CA, Brenda’s main goal is to facilitate the engagement, communication, and efforts of industry, labor, education and other community stakeholders to meet the workforce development goals and objectives of S4CA. With over 25 years of experience in working with high schools, community colleges, and baccalaureate institution programs, her main goal is to insure linkages and networking with apprenticeships and construction employers and managers to promote the industry as a viable career option. Brenda’s educational background includes a B.S degree in Business Education & Economics and a M.A. degree in Educational Administration, as well as special certifications and training in public engagement, mentoring, school leadership; and workforce development. Brenda is a strong advocate for California Career & Technical Education and has served on several state and local advisory boards.
